EUNAVFOR MED Flagship ITS Cavour in operation
On Friday 25 June, Italian Navy Ship, ITS Cavour , left the harbor of Taranto to reach the area of operation in the southern part of the central Mediterranean sea.
On board the Force Commander, Rear Admiral(Lower Half) Andrea Gueglio, and more than 600 military personnel.
In the next days other units from other member states will join the naval group.
